What is Ombré Brow Tattoo?

Ombré Brows also known as powder, mist, microshading, ombré shading, or stardust brows is the technique described by its name, with results being powdery with a faded front and a crisp tail, resembling the look of makeup.

  • This technique is suitable for all skin types - oily, dry, combination, normal.

  • Requires 2 sessions for the perfect look - initial session and 6-8 week touchup.

Do you offer Microblading?

We do not offer Microblading (or any hair stroke tattoo) because this technique causes trauma to the skin, hairstokes do not heal smoothly in the skin, fades sooner and is not suitable for all skin types.

Does the procedure hurt?

Pain depends on the person's pain tolerance. Numbing cream is used throughout the procedure to manage pain.

If you are sensitive to pain, you may take paracetamol such as Crocin Pain Relief or Dolo 650 (NOT Ibuprofen) half hour before your appointment.

DO NOT consume alcohol, caffeine or take any blood thinners (Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Niacin) 24- 48 hours before your procedure, this will make the skin sensitive and also causes excess bleeding, swelling, bruising which in turn may affect your healed results.

For women, you may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or during your menstrual cycle.

How long does this last?

The tattoo lasts anywhere between 1-2 years depending on your health, skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.

What are the side effects and risks?

Redness is the common side effect and will subside in 24-48 hours. Ice packs are a nice relief.

There is also a possibility of itching, light scabbing, and dry tightness.

Dry healing is highly recommended.

What can I do to prepare for my appointment?

  • Stop using any skin thinners (Vitamin A, glycolic acids, exfoliation) on the brow area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

  • Any waxing or brow shaping should be done at least 2 days before.

  • If you tint your brows, tint it at least one week prior to the procedure.

Is first touch up mandatory?

The brows will appear dark and bold after the procedure but will fade significantly during the healing process.

This is a two step procedure - Initial & 6-8 week Touch up.

Brows don't heal perfectly after the initial procedure, a touchup is highly recommended to perfect them and for long lasting results.

After the touch up, Aftercare has to be followed for best results.

How often are touch ups required?

We recommend the first touch up 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure, after that touchups can be done as per your preference. Annual touchup will keep the tattoo looking fresh and beautiful!

How long is the recovery?

There is no downtime following a treatment. For the procedure area to heal completely it takes about 6-8 weeks.

How long is each session?

4 hours for initial procedure which includes paperwork, numbing, predraw and procedure. 2 hours for first touch up.

When can I get botox done?

4 weeks before or after getting the tattoo.

I have my brows tattooed elsewhere, can you do a touch up?

No. Every artist has their own style of tattooing, we will not be providing touch up services for other artist's work.
